Submissions
The Editors of Canadian Jewish Studies welcomes authors to submit manuscripts from 5,000 to 9,000 words in length, including endnotes, in English or French, dealing with one or more aspects of the Jewish experience in Canada. The Editors seek manuscripts which are of general and specialized scholarly interest, in both subject and approach.
Manuscripts should:
- Follow the Chicago Style Manual of Style (The Chicago Manual of Style Online Purdue Online Writing Lab: Chicago Manual of Style)
- Be accompanied by a 100-word abstract and 5-7 key words.
- Have all endnotes appended at the end.
- Meet the requirements of the 'Submissions Preparation Checklist' which you can find on the 'Submit' page.
Submitting your paper:
You can submit your manuscript through Open Journal Systems (OJS), by registering or logging in to OJS on the 'Submit' page, or by emailing your manuscript to the Editors at editor.cjs [at] gmail [dot] com.
The journal does not have any article processing charges (APC's) or article submission charges.
